My internship story with Kvalito started last October, the selection process was nice and smooth but very fast, I clearly remember my first impression of the recruiter after the first interview, I felt comfortable and could speak openly with him about what I expected and why I wanted that opportunity in the Pharma-Biotech world.
A couple of days after that, I got the interview with the client, and that was the confirmation I was on the right path. I found my place among the Quality Team of Galapagos NV, surrounded by such experienced and knowledgeable people that were intimidating at some points.
Now as I reflect on my internship experience over the past six months, I feel incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work in this company. This experience has been nothing short of amazing and has provided me with valuable skills that will undoubtedly serve me well in my future career.
I had the opportunity to learn a lot about Cell & Gene therapy, being able to work on an amazing project related to this field. It was fascinating to see first-hand how the company is working towards developing therapies that have the potential to transform lives and improve health outcomes for patients.
But one of the most rewarding aspects of my internship was the opportunity to work with some amazing people, after a couple of weeks, those who seemed intimidating at the beginning turned out to be friendly, approachable, and always keen to provide help when I needed it. It was truly inspiring to work alongside individuals who are passionate about their work and are committed to making a positive difference in the world.
Overall, my internship was great. I have gained so much from this experience, both professionally and personally. I have developed skills that will be invaluable in my future career, and I have had the opportunity to work with some fantastic people who have taught me so much.
