Our colleagues Barbara Stroh and Julia Jornitz travelled to Mannheim, Germany, to visit the ZI team at the hospital. It was an eye-opening experience for them to go on a personal tour of the facilities and learn about current projects before they handed over KVALITO’s donation.
Julia states: “Like last time, it was just incredibly interesting. Herr Ullrich Ellwanger and Rolf Oster-Ritter were totally attentive, took an infinite amount of time for us, showed us the stations, answered all our questions and gave us insights into their day-to-day work in supporting children, youths and families with psychological challenges. It has been a broad experience. We have so much respect for what the people at ZI do there daily, and it is alarming how Corona has amplified challenges for children and families as far as the psyche is concerned. It was a great experience that left a lasting impression!”
The children and all the patients are very well cared for as they are supported on their road to recovery. In addition to different treatment options, they participate in activities such as music therapy, climbing, planting the garden and going on nature treks with donkeys and llamas. We are proud to partner with this fantastic charity.
